Landscape, from abstraction to figuration

Fundación Mundo Nuevo was created in 1990, with the purpose of contributing to the spreading and development of Argentina’s visual arts. The foundation has an exhibition space, the Mundo Nuevo Gallery Art located in one of the most exclusive sites of Buenos Aires, Callao Avenue between Alvear and Quintana, where exhibitions are featured month after month, and special events are organized as well as talks, guided visits, encounters with artists, etc. It also has a back store with over 500 works in a wide variety of pictorial styles from 1920 to the present day.

We are currently presenting:

Landscape, from abstraction to figuration
Landscape has always been a source of inspiration for artists. Today, Mundo Nuevo Gallery Art has selected from its patrimony 20 works where modern and contemporary artists (Carlos Alonso, Roque Fraticelli, Eduardo Giusiano, etc) develop different landscapes, generating dialogues that range from figurative representation to abstraction thus providing this show with singular characteristics. It will be on view from Monday through Friday from 11am to 19.30 at Callao 1870 lower floor, Buenos Aires. Free entry.
Curator Sergio Artola
