The Manifesta 6 School is the central project of Manifesta 6, the European Biennial of Contemporary Art, which will take place in Nicosia, Cyprus from 23 September to 17 December 2006. The deadline for the application is 1 March 2006, and the invited participants will be notified by 30 March 2006. Read more


- Fotofest 2006. 11th International Biennial of Photography and related Photo-Art

With the themes The earth – Artists responding to violence, Fotofest inaugurates on March 10th and will take place until April 23rd in Houston, Texas. The event which develops simultaneously in several places in the city will have 120 exhibitions of photographic work, which will be held in museums and untraditional spaces. Read more


- Miami Art Museum appoints Terence Riley as its new director

Terence Riley, who has been the Curator in Chief of the Museum of Modern Art in New York – MOMA – since 1992, will assume his new position as Director of Miami Art Museum from March 15th of this year. Read the news
