- Rubell Family Collection announces their newly appointed director: Juan Roselione-Valadez. Miami

Juan Roselione Valadez was recently appointed by the board of trustees of the Rubell Family Collection (RFC)/Contemporary Arts Foundation as the new Director. He has worked since 2001 in collaboration with the Rubells and their staff to create various exhibitions and until recently served as the Collections Manager and Acting Director. During the week of Art Basel Miami Beach, the design space Holly Hunt presented for the first time in Miami, the new furniture series designed by the duo Alissé Matta and the art designer Giovanni Gennari called Nobody & Co. More about this news

The Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts in Nebraska City, offers 2- to 8-week residencies year-round for writers, visual artists, and music composers. Housing, studio space, $100/week stipend are provided. Two deadlines each year: postmarked March 1 for the following July through December 15; postmarked September 1 for the following January through June 15. More about this news
