FotoFest 2012

Four years ago the focus of FotoFest was China; in 2012 it was Russia's turn. In both cases, the actual biennial exhibits were preceded by the export to those countries of the Meeting Place, the portfolio review arm of FotoFest. Russia and China were both central players in the Cold War games, and until recently much of their cultural life during those years of pax frigida was not well known.
