Art Forgery Network Uncovered
Following a long and thorough police investigation by German and Israeli authorities, an entire art forgery network in Europe was dismantled last month, resulting in the capture of 24 persons suspected of fraud for performing fake appraisals, expediting fictitious authenticity certificates and money laundering.
Photography Without Permission
Felix Antequera, a Cuban photographer living in Colombia, appropriates reality and photographs anything that catches his attention. An example of this is his work of the 1990s in Havana. In this video, the artist talks about the evolution of his work and how it now travels inwardly, returning to the notion of a more interior photography, oriented towards oblivion.
