The Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogotá, celebrating its 50th anniversary, is presenting the show Fotografía: Donación en la colección, with works by Venezuelan photographer Luis Brito, winner of the National Photography Award in Venezuela in 1996.

Puerto Rico celebrated its third Feria de Arte Sonoro (FAS|PR|2013) the month of October with an exhibition, artist panels, curator talks, three nights of live performances by local artists, and the island’s premier of “60 x 60” (2012), an audio performance featuring 60 new pieces of music each lasting no more than 60 seconds.
Pérez Art Museum Receives Influx of Donations in the Wake of Art Basel

Will Allow Free Admission to Everyone 18 and Under Following Successful Fundraising Campaign

The San Francisco Museum of Modern Art (SFMOMA) announced that when its expanded building opens to the public in 2016, they will allow free admission for everyone 18 and under. The new policy is predicted to attract as many as 30,000 additional visitors annually to the new museum.
Rafael Lozano-Hemmer
A video record of Mexican artist Rafael Lozano-Hemmer’s participation in Casa Daros’ Meridianos Program last November. In conversation with the audience, the artist presented videos of some of his interactive installations and spoke about the themes in his work, his use of public spaces, and the presence of light. In particular, En voz alta, exhibited in Mexico in 2008. This work was created to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the student massacre at Tlatelolco, which took place on October 2nd, 1968.
