Doris Salcedo: Mute Prayer
Flora ars + natura, presents from February 22 through March 29 the exhibition titled Doris Salcedo: Mute Prayer.
Initially commissioned by the Portuguese Foundation Calouste Gulbenkian and the Moderna Museet Malmö in Sweden, the exhibition has travelled through several institutions before being presented at Flora.

Teresa Margolles
From February 18 through May 25 El Centro de Arte Dos de Mayo in the city of Madrid presents the exhibition entitled The Witness, a comprehensive exhibition of works by Mexican artist Teresa Margolles.
A Richard Hamilton Retrospective
Tate Modern presents a Richard Hamilton retrospective exhibition, featuring 160 works and open to the public through May 26th, 2014. Later, the show will ravel to Museo Reina Sofía in Madrid, expanded to 260 items on exhibit.
Musée Picasso Paris, reopens its doors
The Musée Picasso in the city of Paris reopens its doors on June 21 of 2014. After 5 years and a budget of 52 million euros, the museums is ready to welcome twice as many visitors as it used to and with the expectation of receiving over one million visitors during the first year.
Latin American Curator Goes to the MET in New York
According to Thomas P. Campbell, Director of the MET in New York City, the chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Metropolitan Museum of Art (MET) in New York, Daniel Brodsky and his wife, Curator and Art Collector Estrellita B. Brodsky, will endow the services of a Latin American art curator to the Department of Modern and Contemporary Latin American Art at the MET.
Diego Bruno
Artist Diego Bruno received the Illy SustainArt Award for his work Location.
Presented by Carlos Urroz at the illycaffè space, the award celebrates its seventh edition at the ARCO art fair.

Stuart Hall
This influential intellectual was born in Kingston, Jamaica, where he lived and studied until the age of 19. In 1951 he moved to the UK to continue his studies and lived there until his death in London.
Black Cloud / Nube Negra
Carlos Amorales

A video about Nube Negra, an installation by Carlos Amorales included in Order, Chaos, and The Space Between, an exhibition at the Phoenix Museum of Art. Nube Negra consists on the agglomeration of thousands of black paper butterflies mounted on a white wall, which because of changes in perspective acquire a sense of motion and volume.
Amorales explains his motivations and emotions in the creation of this work, and highlights as one of its main qualities the way in which it interacts and connects with the audience and the space.
