Young Polesello 1958-1974

A year after his passing, the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano in Buenos Aires (MALBA) pays tribute to Rogelio Polesello with the exhibition titled "Young Polessello: 19581974." On the occasion of the exhibition, Canal de la Ciudad will broadcast an interview with Victoria Giraldo, managing coordinator of curatorships at MALBA, which will center on various aspects of the exhibition an on Polesello's work.

Polesello was able to participate in the curatorial conception and organization of exhibition before he died. The show includes around 120 pieces created during the 1960s and 1970s, some of which have been brought from Colombia and have never before been exhibited in Buenos Aires. Giraldo relies on the concept of visual interaction—generated by the viewer as he/she moves through the space—in order to showcase of Polesello's most important contribution.
