Ibero-American Photography Prize Nexofoto16
The first edition of the Ibero-American Photography Prize Nexofoto16 was granted to Spanish artist Virginia Rota for her work titled Saudade (Nostalgia).
New appointments at the Serpentine Galleries in London
The Art Newspaper has revealed in recent news the appointment of Hong Kong-based philanthropist and entrepreneur Yana Peel as chief executive of the Serpentine Galleries in London.
Fernell Franco at the Fondation Cartier
Until June 5, 2016, the Fondation Cartier presents the first retrospective in Europe of the work by Fernell Franco (1942-2006). A photojournalist by trade.
Voluspa Jarpa
The Museo de Arte Latinoamericano in Buenos Aires presents until October 3, 2016 a solo exhibition by Chilean artist Voluspa Jarpa. The exhibition includes photographs, paintings, sound devices, videos and installations.

Spencer Tunick
Spencer Tunick, prominent US artist-photographer of large groups of people in the nude, will work in Colombia for the first time as part of the initiative #Mequitolaropapor, organized by the Museo de Arte Moderno in Bogota.

Fernell Franco
A video about artist Fernell Franco's retrospective titled "Cali Chiaroscuro" at the Fondation Cartier in Paris addresses, through the commentary of the curators of the exhibition, María Wills and Alexis Fabry, the insertion of Franco into the Colombian context, his vision of Cali as the subject and object of his work, as well as his relationship with Colombian artist Óscar Muñoz. The exhibition will remain open until June 5, 2016
