The show’s curator, Jean-Michel Bouhours, briefly reviews Kiefer’s career and explains the curatorial proposal, intended to explore the themes in the artist’s work in a series of galleries where the different concerns driving Kiefer’s work are clarified, catalogued, and reconstructed.

Additionally, Bouhours explains one artwork created specifically for this exhibition, Madame de Itaël, and another dating from 1985-87, Osiris & Isis.
