Gyula Kosice
In memory of artist Gyula Kosice, ArtNexus presents this video produced by Argentina’s Ministry of Culture.

Max Pérez, head of the Kosice Museum, notes that the artist was aware of his historic role as one of the founders of the Madí movement. Kosice speaks about the creative process and the insatiable exploration of new technologies. He began his works from a sketch and then gave the shape in a model; only on the basis of that conceptual and material study did he move on to the creation of the final work.

In this video, Kosice defines today’s art as the fusion of art, science, and technology. He introduces his museum, which exhibits 240 of his works on a permanent basis, and concludes asserting that his works speak for him, even if he distorts, with complicated language, their specific definitions.
