Rita Kersting has been named deputy director of the Museum Ludwig
Rita Kersting will be the new deputy director of Cologne’s Museum Ludwig. She will be taking over for Katia Baudin, who was named director of Germany’s Kunstmuseen Krefeld last year.

For the 14th Edition of the Grants and Commissions Program of the Fundación CIFO for the Arts, Colombia stood out in the category of mid-career and established artists, in which projects submitted by Jorge Julián Aristizábal, Carlos Castro, and the duo formed by Leidy Chávez and Fernando Pareja were awarded.
10th Central American Biennial

Seis Seis is a new space for contemporary Cuban art that was born in the context of the 12th Havana Biennial (2015) and reopened on July 1, 2016 in its current address on  74b Aguiar Street  (at the corner of Peña Pobre and Cuarteles), in Old Havana.

Annie Leibovitz
As part of the exhibition WOMEN: New Portraits, UBS presents a series of videos about the project commissioned to Annie Leibowitz.

The show gives continuity to one of the photographer's best known series, first presented in 1999. It features new portraits reflecting the changes in the role of women today.

WOMEN: New Portraits will travel to different cities across the world during 2016. ArtNexus shares the videos that accompanied Leibowitz's travels in Mexico and Hong Kong.
