Juan Javier Salazar: Perú Express

As a posthumous tribute to Juan Javier Salazar (1955 - 2016), ArtNexus wishes to share this report on his Perú Express project.

Perú Express evolved from the idea of taking a product created by Salazar to the streets on the occasion of Peru’s Independence Day. A small work capable of prompting interactions with the general public and that people could take home with them.

The exercise of selling this product at cost generated a presentation by the artist against today’s art market.

The video was produced by LaMula in Peru.
