"Verboamerica" — Colección Malba

On the occasion of the 15th anniversary celebrations of the Museo de Arte Latinoamericano of Buenos Aires, MALBA presents a video about the exhibition "Verboamerica" curated by Andrea Giunta and Agustín Pérez-Rubio.

According to Pérez-Rubio, the exhibition is the result of a long curatorial and research project that proposes the visualization and narrative of the history of Latin American art from the artistic, utopian and sociopolitical imaginary of the south. In the video, Agustín Pérez-Rubio, director of the institution, and historian Andrea Giunta, speak about the curatorial process and the objectives set for the exhibition; which are defined through 170 artworks divided into eight thematic centers in which works from different historic periods, expressed through a variety of formats and techniques, interact to tell the living history of Latin America.
