Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCCA)

On the occasion of the inauguration of the Zeitz Museum of Contemporary Art Africa (Zeitz MOCCA), on September 22, 2017, Eyewitness News channel will broadcast a video about the construction and design of this new cultural project in South Africa.

In the video, development manager Mark Noble talks about some of the characteristics and history of the architectural space chosen to house the museum, revealing the importance and the challenges of this great project that will be located in the historic Grain Silo Complex at Cape Town's V&A Waterfront in South Africa. The mayor of Cape Town, Patricia de Lille, and David Green, the CEO of V&A Waterfront, underscore the importance of the Zeitz MOCCA, defining as one of the most revealing platforms in which to house, promote, preserve, research, and exhibit 21st century art from Africa and its diaspora.
