Alfredo Jaar

On the occasion of the next exhibition by Alfredo Jaar in Yorkshire Sculpture Park, we present a video produced for the artist's show at the Patricia Ready Gallery, Chile. The exhibition featured The Sound of Silence, an installation on hunger in the world as a subject, which will be presented at the Yorkshire Sculpture Park.

The video also includes the works Three Women, A Million Flashes and A Photograph is Not Taken, which expose the artist's critical posture on the level of consumerism and the indifference of developed countries to the situation of nutritional, economic and social disparity.
