CINTAS Foundation Announces 2017-18 Fellowship Winners in Architecture & Design, Music Composition and Visual Arts
CINTAS Foundation President Victor Deupi announced the winners at the annual Awards Ceremony during a special reception held at the Coral Gables Museum.

The second edition of the Mexico City Awards took place on October 19, this time at the Polyforum Siqueiros where some of the individuals and entities working for a better city and to improve the lives of its inhabitants met.
La Casa Encendida Presents Physical and Human Geography by Artist Anna Bella Geiger
Curated by Estrella de Diego and organized in collaboration with the Centro Andaluz de Art Contemporáneo (CAAC) and the Museo de la Universidad Nacional de Tres de Febrero (MUNTREF) in Buenos Aires, the exhibition offers a comprehensive look into the work of Brazilian artist Anna Bella Geiger.
Los Carpinteros Arrive in Bogotá
Beginning on October 26, the exhibition titled "The Thing is Candela" by Cuban artistic duo Los Carpinteros will be on display at the Museo de Arte Miguel Urrutia of the Banco de la República and, beginning on October 28, the exhibition titled "Los Carpinteros: Towards an Expanded Reading" will be shown at NC-arte.

The Sculpture Exhibition World Tour featuring the series "Chubby Women" by Chinese artist Xu Hongfei (Yangjiang City, 1963) will be presented from November 1 through November 7 at Bolívar Square in Bogota.

In the context of the emergency situation Puerto Rico is experiencing, the Museo de Arte de Puerto Rico (MAPR) is focusing its efforts on the recovery of the country's cultural heritage with help received by the Smithsonian Institution, to which the museum is affiliated.

Ana Bella Geiger

This video produced by Casa Encendida features Brazilian artist Ana Bella Geiger and the works included in the exhibition "Physical and Human Geography." The show thoroughly focuses on certain pieces by Geiger that expose viewers to the vast conceptual and formal world contained in her artistic production.
