Rockefeller Colecction record sales

We feature the video by CBS This Morning, of what has been called the "sale of the century," David and Peggy Rockefeller's art collection sold at Christie's in New York for US $832M. The profits in this auction will be donated to charity. The first of the three-day auction included paintings by Picasso, Monet, Diego Rivera, among others. The Rockefeller family started the art collection of Latino American art at the MOMA, when Abby Aldrich Rockefeller donated three works by José Clemente Orozco and Diego Rivera in 1935 and 1936; in the auction "Los Rivales" by Diego Rivera Diego Rivera became the most expensive artwork of Latin America to be sold at an auction.
