Arte y Mecenazgo de “La Caixa”
The Art and Patronage Awards organized by the Fundación Bancaria La Caixa in recent days announced at CaixaForum Madrid the winners of the eighth edition of the event.

Ed Ruscha (1937) and Thomas Cole (1801-1848), two separate but complementary exhibitions, are presented at the National Gallery of London since June to October 2018.
El arte de la desobediencia "The Art of Disobedience" at MAMBO
The Museo de Arte Moderno de Bogota (MAMBO) will turn 55 in October. To celebrate the momentous occasion the institution organized the exhibition titled "The Art of Disobedience."

Paloma de la paz (Dove of Peace) Arrives at the Museo Nacional de Colombia
The work titled La paloma de la paz (The Dove of Peace) by Fernando Botero was donated by the Colombian artist to the Presidency of the Republic of Colombia (Casa de Nariño) in September of 2016.


Ed Ruscha
In Ed Ruscha's video, produced by the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, Karen Breuer the curator presents the work, personality and career of the artist. Ruscha started doing design for a Los Angeles advertising agency in the late 1950s; then he continued to use typography in his work turning it into one of his iconic elements, as well as the images of the west coast of the United States.
