- Galería El Museo
Established in 1987, Galería El Museo was created to develop and to promote the incipient Colombian art market towards a global and international level. Through periodic exhibitions, the gallery initiated steps to contribute to the formation and strengthening of the national arts. Since 1989, Galería El Museo began its participation in the most important international art fairs. At the same time, it began an exchange practice with various foreign galleries, expanding the Colombian and Latin American market to an international level.

Since its opening 14 years ago, the mission of promoting Colombian art has led Galería El Museo to open a new space in Bogotá’s Portobelo Design Center, where the works of young artists are exhibited in the “Alternativas en Proceso” project.

In the second quarter of 2001, galleria El Museo opened a second location, in Madrid, Spain, called Galeria Fernando Pradilla. The Gallery, named after El Museo’s Director, Fernando Pradilla, was created to promote the best works of Latin American art throughout Europe, via Spain.
